“This is a great clipper. For my first attempt at home grooming I borrowed a neighbours Wahl clipper. It just stalled when faced with my Spanish Water Dogs matted coat, and was also really loud. After reading reviews, I decided on this Andis model. It is really quiet, which helps keep the dog calm, and cuts through my dog's coat really easily. It's important to get the blade choice right. The blades are expensive, but the blade/comb all-metal combination is so much better than using plastic blade attachments. I would recommend this clipper without hesitation.”

“Purchased for my Cockapoo and they do the job very well. I previously used a cheap pair from a well known site and they only lasted 3 cuts. The wire does occasionally get in the way but makes for a consistent cut as there is no drop in power.”
