“I previously owned a pair of Grisport Dartmoor walking boots that lasted for a considerable length of time (unfortunately the upper came away from the sole eventually, otherwise I would have got even more wear out of them). The Coniston is comparable to the Dartmoor in that, for me, the fit is perfect (I am a size 6) and very comfortable. I would prefer a lighter colour but there is nothing available. The "olive" Dartmoor was wonderful but no longer produced. I lighter brown would be acceptable - just something a little more up-lifting!”
