“I have never owned a pair of walking boots before now. But because I'm trying to get outdoors for a walk during lockdown on a regular basis, both to to save my mental health and rescue my expanding waistline. I thought this might be the time to invest.
I was fed up of heading home with my feet soaking wet and freezing after a walk. Walking anywhere in Scotland in the winter is not an easy feat and my trusty trainers are not up to the job!
These Peaklander boots are a game changer. There is no excuse now for me to stay indoors as these are warm, extremely comfortable from the get go, and waterproof. I'm a size 6 and ordered a 6. They fit like a glove. I don't wear thick walking socks but I'm sure there would be extra wiggle room for a pair if I did.
