“A good light weight walking or casual wear shoe. Not really meant to go too far up the hill and off the twisty trail but fine for trails in dry conditions.”

“Grippy soles, and the use of loops rather than holes for the laces should make them rain-resistant.
They are, however, nowhere near as rugged as I would expect from a "walking shoe". The uppers and the soles are quite thin. I can feel every little stone and irregularity on uneven ground. I realise of course that they are not hiking boots, but they're not even my go-to shoes for a walk on the canal towpath.
Perfectly serviceable for town-dwellers strolling to the pub.”
