“Simple sturdy lightweight boot.
I bought this style of boot because there are no "hooks" on the laces. I wanted them for working on a boat and I didn't want hooks because I thought they might get caught on things.
These boots lace up via holes, all the way up.
They were comfortable right out of the box. True to size: I am a size 38 and bought a size 38: they fitted perfectly with "normal" (not thick padded) socks, for exanple with the nice merino socks kindly provided by grisport. The inside of the boots are padded, so I found thick socks were not needed.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to make them a bit wider and not such a pointed shape in the toe. This would make them more comfortable for my spreading toes. But they are as comfortable as other shoes I have and worked perfectly well. Recommended.”
“Very recent purchase, only worn twice. Can say that they are very comfortable, a good fit with plenty of room for a thicker sock and my feet were dry after a walk in heavy rain and wind. Excellent price in sale. Would buy from Grisport again and recommend others take a look at this brand”
