“I am very pleased with my Grey Exmoor walking shoes. They are comfortable and warm. I had to buy a size up from my normal size, as my normal size is out of stock, so I am still working out which combination of socks and insoles works best.”

“I've worn the excellent Dartmoor shoes happily for many years. This time I decided to go for the lighter weight Exmoor. A mistake! Certainly they are as well made and a very comfortable fit. But I hadn't realised how much thinner the Exmoor soles are than the Dartmoor, such that I can feel the knobbly tread pattern on the soles of my feet as I walk - not at all comfortable in that respect. I may try a second insole but that shouldn't be necessary. These are a fine enough pair for daily wear but I can't recommend them for walking. Back to Dartmoors next time!”
