“I like the shoe, comfortable, multi purpose. Bought a replacement pair for a pair bought July 2021. Original pair have split at the toe cap near my right little toe, and the sole is just starting to come unstuck at the left toe, but still good for gardening etc. I wore them a lot. New pair will also be worn a lot and hopefully last another 3 years.”
“Very comfortable straight away.My old pair lasted two and a half years of heavy use.I wore my new ones on a walk through wet grass,and they let water in,but walking through wet grass is the hardest test for any waterproof shoe or boot.The Icarus is a fabric shoe,and needs an occasional proofing with something like Nikwax waterproofing.Having done that,I'm hoping they are now waterproof.”
“After finding another Grisport model a bit narrow, customer service recommended Icarus. These were ideal...very comfortable great sole and don't look out of place in town. I sealed the leather to make cleaning a bit easier. I have since bought another pair in a different colour.”
