“Lovely walking shoe and keeps my feet dry in the wet weather. My only criticism is I haven’t been able to wear them straight away, as advertised, as the top edge of both walking shoes sit just below my ankle bone and bruise it during the walks. They are finally getting used to the shoes so hopefully can start to wear them on a daily basis now.”
“Excellent value leather boot suited to country walks. Sole is quite thin and can feel the terrain through it. Also quite a high volume boot. For both these reasons a better, thicker, insole would be of benefit.”
“Comfortable walking boots. Size 8 is more akin to 9. Suitable for walking dog but is not suitable for rugged terrain and steep hills. Keeps the water out which is a bonus for a cheap boot.”
“The boots arrived on 17/10/24. and as advertised they indeed didn't require wearing in, but were good to go immediately out of the box.
The top catches at the top of the lace tie ups is a nice touch, as it allows one to get a good tight pull before tying the laces off.
My only negative feed back is about the insoles. After about 10 days usage, these had started migrating backwards inside the boots. I tried using the boots without, but these in-soles definitely improved the comfort fit when present. To stop the migration I've had to glue the soles in with double sided tape.
Having a removable in-sole probably has its benefits, but in their current form they are structurally not quite up to it. So it’s a case of either make them an integral part of the boot ie not removable, or make them structurally more substantial, such that they can't migrate around under usage.
As to tread wear-ability and boot waterproof-ness, only time will tell on these features.”
“Excellent value boot with great grip and cushioning. The fit is not quite as good for me, my wider feet are better served by my Aztec boots, which are also excellent”
“Unfortunately the boots I ordered came faulty. The boots missed one eyelet/hook which clearly was not attached during production. Send the boots back asking for a exchange. Unfortunately exchange wasn't possible. I did get a refund eventually but I had to wait almost two week to hear back from them. Disappointed especially with the waiting time.”
