“I bought these to replace a pair of the standard Dartmoor shoe. They are the same fit but fewer seams and don’t have the Grisport label on the side just an embossed name. The soles are meant to be better but I have not had them long enough to know about that. I like a proper all leather shoe. Modern canvas and webbing footwear which rely on membranes to keep water out always fail and look shabby. Leather takes the knocks and looks much loved not worn out.”
