“The boots look to be very strongly constructed, but not too heavy. So far I have worn them around the house for many hours and for one 4.5 mile hike without any significant discomfort, let alone any injury. They are higher cut than my previous shoes so I need to tie them with care to prevent confining my ankles, but this apart they are very easy to put on and off. I am particularly impressed that they are genuinely wide-fitting as advertised; so few other boots truly are. I should also point out that after four operations on one foot and having to always wear prescribed shoe inserts, I am very aware of boot quality!”
