“These were my first 'proper' set of hiking boots I've bought and they didn't disappoint.
They were good to go straight out the box and replaced a high street brand that were nowhere near the same quality, durability or comfort.
I've taken these boots over most terrains and in most weather conditions (mostly wet) and they took everything that was thrown at them over 2 years.
Sadly, after all of that I've had to retire them and I've upgraded to a set of Rampage boots instead which feel even more robust.
In short, Grisport are offer quality boots at a great price point.”
“I've now had a chance to wear my new Saracen boots over the last month. This is my first pair of Grisport boots and I would describe them as okay for the price point. They've now become my regular dog walking boots. These are not mountain boots and won't handle tough or rocky terrain as the soles are geared towards paths or gentle terrain. There's also a certain amount of sloppiness in the way they cradle your foot, which you don't get with a higher end boot. This unfortunately doesnt make them the comfiest when walking over rocky or broken ground. With all that being said, they're very well made, waterproof and good value for money and I would expect them to last. I've given them 4 stars, as they are decent value for money but there is one thing I think they could improve without much additional cost and that is a lug that allows you to lock the laces in place at the transition between the forefoot and ankle. Many manufacturers have then nowadays and it just allows for easier and better refinement of the fit when lacing.”
“Lovely colour, very comfortable, think they are perfect for my use. Excellent quality and very well made. Highly recommend this company and these boots. Surprise gift with boots are a really great pair of warm socks”
“From ordering to returning cannot fault this company. The boots are excellent quality. Quality of leather and stitching, beautiful!
These were returned unfortunately. I ordered wide but they were not wide enough for my feet. Fab to see a British Boot company still existing.”
