“Historically I have always bought brown Grisport
Peaklander boots ,but this time due to availability I had a pair of black ones. I've found the right boot where the lower metal lace fixings are causing real discomfort to my big toe joint ,also the leather is cracking around the lace fixing. Once the boot is warm its is much better but this pair of boots is nowhere up to the normal standard of my many previous pairs all of which were 5 star.”
“I'm really pleased with my purchase of Peaklander Black walking boots. I had not heard of Grisport before but gave them a try. I was really impressed by the quality, they actually feel like they will last, I walk alot and can go through walking boots quite quickly. Their waterproof qualities have been tested and they performed great. Bone dry. I purchased the wider fit that I'm really pleased with, only downside I guess is buying without trying as they are a little uncomfortable on the instep (more down to my anatomy than the boots probably) but I'm sure they will wear in fine. “Great looking and a solid comfortable walking shoe. My daughter has a pair of Grisport and used them for The D of E. She was the only person who never had a blister so I thought I would have a go as I have never had proper walking boots. I have an upcoming trip to Ireland so will see how they go but so far, after wearing them for a short time to get used to them I am very pleased. I am a 6 1/6 but as I have gotten older my feet seem to have widened and a size 7 fits without being too big.”
