“After returning the boots due to faults on the left boot.
Wrinkled leather
Flattened metal lace tie
Was to big although size said 37
The replacement pair were fine.excellent just like the previous 4 pairs I have bought”
“My last two pairs of walking boots were from a well known high street outdoor gear chain. I was shocked by how short a time they lasted before cracking or splitting. So I did some research to try and find a better quality product, and I read promising things about Grisport.
It's too early for me to report on the durability of these boots, but my impressions so far are good. They seem very well made, and were comfortable straight out of the box. Grisport's online ordering and returns service is also very customer friendly.”
“Boots appear to be well made and quite soft so as they dont need a lot of working in.
They have good wet grip and firm ankle support making them great for confident climbing and decending in all conditions.
I have conditioned and waterproofed the boots and they are quite watertight after a couple of long wet lakeland walks.
The only issue is that if you are not carefull when tightening the boots the tongue can move slightly to either the left or right making a rub spot on the top of your foot”
“Sturdy, comfortable boots.
My only gripe is that I found the insole was a bit hard & flat under foot. This was resolved by adding a suitable insole to suit my slightly high arch.
Perfect now.”
“Historically I have always bought brown Grisport
Peaklander boots ,but this time due to availability I had a pair of black ones. I've found the right boot where the lower metal lace fixings are causing real discomfort to my big toe joint ,also the leather is cracking around the lace fixing. Once the boot is warm its is much better but this pair of boots is nowhere up to the normal standard of my many previous pairs all of which were 5 star.”
