“I had a pair of Grisport Aztec boots for 2 years and they were the most waterproof boots I have ever owned - I do around 70-80 miles a week minimum and I think that they only cracked after 2 years because I did not manage to dry them out properly due to a very wet winter. I replaced them with the Saracen boots from Grisport and I am extremely pleased with this choice - once again very waterproof and I am being very careful to dry and wax them properly this time. Grisport claim that the boots do not need wearing in - this is definitely true with the Saracens - I wore them straight from the box and they were fine. I was properly fitted with the Aztecs and they were a 43 (I am UK size 8) - I got the Saracens in 43 and they are fine - the Aztecs are a wide fit but the Saracens seem to be equally wide and around the same weight.”
