“Recently bought a pair of Thunder Walking boots from Grisport and decided to try the Active Gel insole. I have used Superfeet insoles for many years but they are now very pricey.
I feel the forefoot could do with a bit more cushioning, but the whole of the heel is cushioned not just the Gel insert itself. I am actually using these in my Crusader boots as the "deep cleated" sole adds to the overall cushioning and the combination is very comfortable. This would also work well in some of Grisports lighter walking boots.
I also have a slight reservation about the "squishiness" of the heel, how well will this wear, only time will tell.
I have given this 4 stars but on a value for money basis it probably deserves 5. Definitely worth a try.”
