Emerald Springdale 10x8 Metal Shed. The Emerald Springdale 10 x 8 Metal Shed is a large 10ft wide shed for your garden or allotment with more than enough room for keeping tools, childrens bikes and garden furniture dry and safe. Emerald storage sheds are designed to be completely maintenance free and are fire, rot and rodent resistant. The Springdale 10x8 metal shed is constructed from a thick zinc coated galvanised steel framework that is 635mm thick and clad with high tensile galvanised steel sheet with a hot dipped double coat of deep green colour finish with contrasting white vents. There are two vent panels positioned high in the apex gable to ventilate the shed and prevent a buildup of condensation in the roof space that can cause a very damp atmosphere in lesser sheds. “At tops this shed is probably worth £50. When it was delivered I was amazed at the size of the box and how small it was considering the size of the shed. I was also amazed that it was made in Dubai for an American firm when I ordered it from a UK website. On unpacking the box I notice some panels were badly scratched and dented. I also could not believe that metal could be made so thin. Any way on putting up the shed that was quite straight forward. The paint on the shed is extremely thin and comes of the panels easy. The plastic wrapping over the door panels and apex panels was on so strong that when we carefully pulled it off it made the panels dent out. Also the handles are really thin and overall this shed will be very easy for someone to break into. This shed needs to be improved by: Make the metal panels thicker Make the paint thicker Transport in better packaging to prevent damage. Use less strength glue on the plastic film Use better door handles.”
