“Bought our refill pack and all 5 went to the top very quickly with loads of food left. I emailed to say my students were not happy and was told it was probably them recovering from the journey and to contact them if only 2 butterflies emerged. 1 died and didn’t form a chrysalis , 2 began to emerge however didn’t fully and died leaving us with 2 butterflies. I did email back to explain this and asked for a full refund as this hadn’t happened before, still waiting for a reply and a refund………………. Won’t be buying caterpillars from here again”

“As ever, the caterpillar refills are wonderful to behold. 5 baby caterpillars inevitably turn into 5 glorious butterflies. I did have one this time that didn’t turn out well - crumpled wings & it couldn’t get out of its case - but that was because the silk hanging thread it created lost its grip on the pot lid & it ended up upside down. Even though I managed to right it in the butterfly house the damage was done & it emerged crumpled. I did release it but it couldn’t fly away which was very sad . Never mind, such is life.”
