“Whilst the outside looked lovely and well made and all the wood had been smoothed when I opened the bee box and took out the bee trays all the channels had very rough edges and splintered wood bits sticking up which could tear the bees wings whilst going in and out. I will have to sandpaper all the channels smooth so the bees are not damaged whilst going about their business. I did not expect this as I thought it would be bee ready. If the channels had been sandpapered as smooth as the outside this would have been 5*”

“The bee house is very sturdy and good that the trays can be removed for cleaning. It benefited from a bit of sanding of the rough edges.”
