“They go in a long way so you need a good broom-handle-sized stick to make the hole. Also, need a shallow dish for the bread to allow it to sit flush with the ground so you can mow over it. It appeared to keep the mole away but then after a while the cheeky blighter re appeared to dig round it. They’re continuing to work well after I caught the mole using a trap since no other mole has appeared.”

“I cannot speak too highly of this product. As someone who tries to be a kind gardener - killing moles is a step too far for me. I have a few of these around my garden to deter the "little critters" and although we have the odd skirmish so far the repellers seem to be succeeding”

“You need strong muscles to make a hole deep enough to accommodate the stem to the required depth. I had to use a heavy metal stake to make the hole which wasn’t easy; but once in place it certainly moved the mole on!”
