I wanted to get rid of dozens of slugs in my garden.. I do get lots of birds / foxes and squirrels but nothing eats them .. I never use any poisons . Or slug pellets as they are so dangerous for any wildlife and I feel they are cruel to slugs . I do feel a bit guilty using it but we are over run with slugs and I feel this is maybe the best way to get rid of them ? this slug pub is working well we have so far caught quite a few it always has many in it .. really pleased with it and will continue to always use it .

30+ thick, 4 inch slugs caught daily - eugh! Wonderful product! Bait with stale beer for best results.

Bought 2 more slug traps, these traps do the job. No guilt they die very happy in beer!

The slugs and snails absolutely pile into these traps. I use them in conjunction with the Bait for Slug and Snail Traps, which appears highly effective and doesn't waste good beer! Some slugs and snails will use the traps as an overnight refuge rather than drowning in them, so I would recommend removing them on a regular basis. Because the traps are so effective you do need to clean them out regularly and replace the bait liquid.

These are wonderful, need very little beer and trap hundreds of slugs & snails. Once they are in the trap they cannot get out and are easily disposed of.

This isn't great, I liked the idea of it not being dug down so I could move it easily but it doesn't work. Some slugs died in it but most just climbed right out of the trap and not many were interested in the trap even with the attractant. Waste of money, we literally watched the slugs climb out. Also the lid when secured properly can be tricky to remove without moving the trap and so spilling some of the contents.

Totally amazing. When visitors come I take them to see how many slugs I have got. About 50 a night is average.
