“I think that I have had less infestation from slugs and snails this year but it is very difficult to be 100% sure. However I do believe that this product is working. Over time and further applications should confirm how well thenproduct has done.”

“Upon receipt of the product, I set up a test to see how effective it was. I prepared two containers and placed six slugs in each. I added Slow release slug nematode granules to one container and left the other one untreated as a control. After three days all slugs were alive and feeding so I added more granules to the treated container. After two weeks all slugs were alive and thriving. It would appear that the slow-release long-life slug nematodes that I was supplied with were completely ineffective.”

“Not too sure about these yet. Only just completed using them. The downside in my opinion is they stick together making distribution difficult; they need a 'non-stick' coating.”

“Slugatodes as they are known in our house are an essential weapon in our armoury against the slimy monsters in the garden. I won't use any other way to reduce them, so snotty slugs tend to form gangs while I'm not watching. The new version of these nematodes is genius - slow release, long life, in a plastic tube with two dispensing options (dollop or sprinkle) and they work. Battle won, war continues because we would never use anything chemical and I can't bring myself to murder slugs with salt!”
