We purchased nematodes to put down as we normally do. In addition, because we have always had a problem with them clogging the rose on our watering can, we purchased a rose from Green Gardener. This was advertised as being one with large holes to use when putting nematodes down. I had exactly the same problem with this rose. I contacted Green Gardener about the problem. I was told "It is the sediment that the nematodes are packed in that will have clogged the rose up. Normally the dilution will stop this happening. In the future, some people are making the holes on the rose bigger by drilling out as unfortunately this is the largest hole size available. Another way is to try and remove as much sediment as possible by running the solution through a sieve into the watering can or when you make up the stock solution, stir the nematodes and then let it settle so that the worst of the carrier material / sediment that the nematodes are packed in is left behind". Questions: Why is this information not included on the packet? Who has an appropriately sized sieve to carry out this procedure? Why are they suggesting a way around this is by making the holes bigger? Why are Green Gardener not including this information when they sell this inadequate rose? We are very disappointed at the response and although customers for several years, we will not be returning.

Got this to use with nematodes as it says it’s universal and fits most watering cans, I have 3 different types of watering cans and it didn’t fit any, very disappointing!

Unfortunately this was returned for full refund as the universal fit advertised did not fit the five watering cans I tried it on. The return of the product and issue of a full refund was handled extremely easily. Thanks Green Gardener.

It is what it is. Personally I found that the head still blocked up, but regular cleaning out seemed to help.

Made of cheap plastic. I was expecting better for nearly £10! It was supposed to be used with the nematodes for sprinkling on veg garden to eliminate slugs. The holes weren’t large enough to allow the nematode liquid to pass through. I finally removed the rose and watered without. Do not waste your money.

Unfortunately I couldnt get it to fit on any of our 5 different spouts. It looks and feels fine. I had a refund on it, but if it fits your can, it should last a few years

Although advertised as fitting most watering cans, it didn't fit any of mine. I had to hold it place and it kept getting clogged up with nemaslug solution. It kept flying off and eventually got lost.
