As mentioned above they arrive promptly and in good condition. There are clear instructions and they do their job. For me they are the best option as I don’t use any insecticides in the garden.

I absolutely loved the fact that you can buy ladybirds as I absolutely love ladybirds! Always been my favourite beetle. However I didn’t realise that ants are predators of ladybirds and unfortunately all the ladybirds & larvae I bought to naturally control the aphids are all gone. I wish I had know to treat the ants first before buying the ladybirds but it was the end of the season & I didn’t want to miss out but maybe I should have waited, had I known the ants would get into the ladybird barn & eat them all :-( I’m so sad it must have been a massacre :-( I’m so disappointed that I spent good money on the cute little ladybird’s & larvae which ended up being some very expensive ant food :-(

I absolutely like the Ladybirds Green Gardener provides for gardeners like us who try to live without pesticides. The ladybird family arrived well cared for, in a nice padded transport home and quite lively. We had ordered them to get rid of aphids in our greenhouse. When they arrived in the morning, we had put them in a dark and cool place, until we put them onto the plants in the evening. The adults spread out immediately, the larvae were a bit more reluctant. The next morning, however, we found the adults engaging in ... procreation. The larvae had crawled out of their bags and were happily munching on the aphids, which soon disappeared. I can only recommend the ladybirds, as they are native to Britain and very educational for children too. They do make short process of aphids and even keep ants, protecting those aphids, at bay. They are perfect for organic gardeners.

An excellent selection of adult and larval ladybirds to get started on clearing an aphid infestation. Work has progressed very well...

The larvae and ladybirds did a very good job in restoring the 3 affected trees growing new healthy leaves

I ordered live 25 ladybirds and 50 larvae and both seem to have gobbled up my aphids and greenfly. No more sticky stuff dropping from the trees. What an excellent eco way to deal with garden pests. I'm delighted.

They appeared active and healthy but they did not stay despite the house we installed and the plentiful green flies. We are still struggling with the infestation and did not manage to save the plants
