“Lovely looking and solidly made bee houses. However apart from an initial brief investigation, none of my mason bees have occupied either the 6 or 10 drawer house in the month it has been in position. This is a sunny site in which there are also other bee houses containing observation drawers with Perspex covers, and cardboard tubes, in which well over 100 cardboard tubes have been capped while the 6 drawer and 10 drawer houses remain unoccupied. I am waiting to see whether the leafcutter bees, when they emerge from their cocoons later, use the new bee houses.”

“The individual shelves do not fit well in the outer casing. It is, however useful to have a release tray.”
