“Having tried everything, this has had some effect as I did not lose ALL the Runner Bean plants. This was my 3rd attempt this year after slugs & snails had decimated the 2 previous efforts in their early stages despite only planting out after they had been allowed to "grow on" to a height of over 30cm. and tied in to supports. I will continue to use it next growing season and am considering a double barrier. I will report back if successful. Anything has to be worth a try although even the experts say it is impossible to avert this type of damage completely. [A local plot-holder advised that wood chippings had also helped.]”

“I first purchased the smaller length of mesh. I was so impressed with the performance that I decided to get the longer roll. I have had no problem with slugs or snails on the plants I protected. I’m looking forward to using this for many years, I also like the way the mesh blends in with the beds.”

“The mesh has worked well in keeping slugs and snails away from my plants. I was wary of the product when I saw how bright the mesh was but within a matter of days the mesh had faded down to blend in with the soil. It is a well-made product and I expect to get years of use from it.”

“So far so good. It’s much tougher stuff than the flimsy copper tapes on the market. Easy to staple/fix on. I don’t think any slugs have made it past.”
