Geum are a clump forming perennials with hairy, pinnate leaves and saucer shaped flowers. Geum bear semi double flowers throughout summer. To plant geums they like all soil types and prefer full sun if possible. To grow geums and look after them they need the flower stems removing and any untidy leaves. They are perfect for cottage and mixed flower borders, best planted in the middle of the border so you can appreciate the flowers.
