Wisteria is a lovely woody twining climber with beautiful perfumed flowers. They are one of the more hardy climbers which you can train them to climb up walls and over garden structures. During the summer months your garden will be brightened up with the Wisteria has pinnate green leaves and long pendulous racemes of scented lilac purple flowers, in long racemes in summer, followed by velvety pods. To grow Wisterias is quite straight forward and are easy to plant. Wisterias like a sunny spot but will also grow in partial shade, they like well drained soil but will dry out so they need to be kept well watered.
