Acer can be deciduous trees or large shrubs with paired, often palmately-lobed leaves and small flowers followed by characteristic winged fruits.Many have fine autumn colour, and some have ornamental stems. Acer prefer to thrive in moist but well drained soil, and thrive best in full sun or patrial shade. Acer Platanoides drummondii are a Vigorous deciduous spreading tree with broadly marginated creamy white leaves. Grow in moist but well drained fertile soil in sun or partial shade. H.10-12m.
