Olea are small or medium sized evergreen trees with simple, opposite leathery leaves. Flowers are in terminal or axillary panicles, and are small, whitish and followed by an ovoid, oblong or globose drupe. Olea Likes a sunny spot and thrive best in fertile well drained soil. Olea Europea is a slow growing evergreen tree which develops a round head.Leathery, long, silver-grey leaves. Tiny, fragrant creamy white flowers in summer followed by edible olives, green ripening to black.
