We have been looking for an icecream maker for sometime, reading many reviews. We already owned the mixer so when I came across the ice cream attachments and it was a reasonable price compared to many other machines that you require to freeze the bowl first. It works really well, makes a good size batch, that churns a smooth icecream. My husband is hooked at making different flavours. You do need a big space in the freezer for the bowl, we have a chest freezer so no issue. If you have a kitchen aid already this is a must for icecream lovers.

Works like a charm and the ice creams are much better than the ready-made you can generally buy.

This provides an ice cream making solution with the minimum additional space requirement by using the existing Kitchen Aid's motor unit to drive it. The bowl is solid and capacious. Getting the paddle concentric to the motor's shaft could be easier; even when fully home it is still a little off-centre but this does not seem to affect operation. It is much easier to pour in the liquid without mess than the Magimix unit it replaces.
