“I purchased the blue version after some debate with the wife. Yes, as my wife indulges me on this habit I do take her viewpoint into consideration. So far it has worked. The watch a pretty remarkable value. The movement is the standard and reliable Seiko NH35, hand winds and hacks, keeps reasonably accurate time. The rest of watch is simply beautiful. It is well proportioned and obviously well made. I really love the absence of anything indicating what’s inside (Automatic, Sapphire Crystal, 300m WR, etc). Just the name in a tasteful gold script font. The band is well suited to the design and by itself is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. I have owned dozens of watches (refer to earlier comment about wife’s input) and this is one of most unique, aesthetically fascinating watches of the bunch. This one is a keeper.”
