“The bin shed took us 5 hours to put together, plus a call to the helpline. At the end it doesn't quite look like the photo. The problem is ours as we are of an older age group. It looks really nice but the problem we have is that the strip at the base is about an inch above the floor so it makes it a little difficult to get the bins in and out. Perhaps a more detailed instruction leaflet would be helpful as they were very small and not easy to discern. As I say, we are purely amateurs so it may have been a bit optimistic to think we would be able to handle this. Have had lots of flat packs which we've put together with no problem, but this was a different level.”

“The bin I received was poorly made and wet within the packaging. It shrank alarmingly as it dried out. One section looked as if it had been left outside being a different colour and clearly deteriorating. None of this was apparent as the bin was packed on delivery. With the present situation I have made do but the shame is that if it had been well manufactured and delivered as such it would be a fine bin store. Disappointed!”

“The bin store initially arrived with no instructions had to request them, some of the timber was of poor quality one of the base sections was badly wrapped and have had to ask for a replacement, still waiting for this also there was only x2 hinges for the 2 lids instead of the 4 shown, used x2 I had myself. Overall it does the job but wood of average quality compared to the overall cost.”

“All wood is poor quality and bend, which makes installation a poor experience as non of the parts will fit properly. Decorative parts come prenailed, and whoever did it, did a terrible job as most of the wood joints are not fiting each other and there are a lot of cracks around nails. Be careful, you will need to predrill a lot of holes or wood will crack. Doors assebly is poor so they dont fit properly, lids are bend as well. Better avoid.”

“I can only give it a good at present as I haven't constructed it yet. The quality looks very good, however I would like to see the panels with lettered stickers on them to speed up identification for building”

“Waited in 8-6 carrier did not arrive and didn’t text to say delivery would not arrive that day. Had to phone supplier to arrange another delivery. Photo of bin online, the lid section, differs from assembly instructions received. Some split wood and one T&G section of pre-formed roof was not properly joined so there is a gap when timber dry. Enough screws and fittings, think hinges to lid could be longer. Didn’t bother fitting chain for bin lid attachment to lid of store as it means you have to put the bin in store backwards and detach chain each bin day. The bin lid props store lid ok when you need to put stuff in. Do your prep. Different box for each size screw and number timber sections to correspond to diagram. Took 2 women nearly 5 hours. Have stained it inside and out, so matches fencing, took another 5 hours. After rain wood swelled so couldn’t open doors easily. 6 out of 10. Just glad not to see bins!”
