“I’m not great with DIY and didn’t have the best tools. Broke a drill bit or two building the compost bin. The wood is quite hard which makes build trickier but hopefully means it will last outside for longer. Once built it’s been great. Simple design but aesthetically pleasing in our front garden tucked by a bush. I like the prop to hold lid up. And I wanted one with a life because we live in Scotland and I wanted to keep it warmer.”

“Love it, once constructed I was surprised how much it held. I have become a born again composter preparing it as I would any victoria sponge, each layer carefully chopped and different ingredients, including the Amazon cardboard, chopped up kitchen waste, dead leaves and weeds. It looks good and I can't wait to use the end product”

“Very sturdy compost bin with easy to follow instructions. Delivery was faster than I'd expected and delivery driver kindly put it behind side gate for me, it was extremely heavy. Of course, now it is placed in amongst the flowers in the garden it really does look like a beehive. It's gorgeous and I'm really pleased with it.”
