“In my view, the awning itself is very well made, robust, easily assembled and very good value for money. It was also delivered (direct from a separate supplier) in a reasonable time frame. The only reason that I have scored 4 rather than five stars is that the assembly instructions are not fully comprehensive. For example, there is no mention of which way up the brackets should be fixed to the wall. At a first superficial glance, they look vertically symmetrical (identical either way up) but, look carefully, and there are two parallel raised ridges (not mentioned in the text) on one side only - presumably designed to grip the head of the bolts that fix the awning to the bracket during tightening.”
