Other Key Features Classic Lattice Styled Back Easy Assembly Strong and Durable Design Solid Board Sides Material: Softwood Natural Timber Finish Featured in Alison Cork's segment in The Daily Telegraph, this softwood wooden arbour seat from Garden Street combines stunning design with a quality build, and can really help you make the most of those warm summer days. The inclusion of the open slatted apex roof allows some sunlight to shine through on those seated below, as well as giving this bench a contemporary twist. The lattice back panel looks equally as beautiful whether left on display, or used as a support frame for climbing plants such as Clematis or Ivy. Comfortably seating two adults, this arbour does not take up much floor space, meaning you can have a touch of luxury even in a smaller garden or outdoor space. Crafted from a mixture of pine and spruce softwood, this product is complete pressure treated throughout to help protect against blue-mould and rot; a premium wood preservation technique used for longevity and durability. The bench can also be painted or stained to suit existing garden colour schemes or other furniture. Assembly This arbour does require assembly, with this product coming in pre-composed parts (rather than putting each individual slat together). We assembled The Arbour over two days (5 hours in all) .Product is good quality however the slats on eat area should be augmented with one extra slat as the spacing currently are uncomfortable due to wide gaps between slats. The assembly instructions are satisfactory but need augmentation so that errors we made can be avoided especially it should be made very clear that the slats need to be aligned with seat supports...

although I gave the product 5 stars I would like to add that the writing on instruction sheet is far to small. also one little thing regarding construction, I think that installing the trellis should be the first thing you do as it gives stability and makes sure that when placing the seat and back slats you can't make a mistake in placing them. As product I am extremely satisfied, parts and fittings arrived in good time and in good order

Unfortunately this was damaged in transit so I refused delivery. I'm afraid I've had no response yet from Garden Street as to a replacement or refund. I know the current situation is making things difficult but I would appreciate a reply to my emails. Thanks

I love this arbour. It took about 18 days to arrive which is understandable due to the current situation of covid 19! I put it up myself (I am female) it was quite simple following the instructions. I knew it didn't have predrilled holes and it was easy doing my own with a power drill. I highly recommend purchasing one x

The end product should prove satisfactory once the in transit damage is rectified. However the instructions are very basic. To ensure that the timber elements go together with a satisfactory fit it is essential that they are constructed in a particular order, this is different to that indicated on the instruction leaflet. Subtle improvements could be made to enhance the performance of the product which I will carry out over time.
