“Good product but specifically says pet safe. It’s not pet safe, only thing that makes it pet safe is not putting where pets can get at it. That’s not pet safe, could say that about any substance”

Hi, I am sorry to hear this. This product is slightly different to other slug pellets, this is what the supplier says "The methaldehyde-free formulation is gentle to bees, hedgehogs, pets and the environment. The active ingredient, ferric phosphate, is an iron compound as it also occurs in nature." Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Kind regards Caitlin

“I bought these after reading reviews and trying various other methods to reduce the number of slugs and snails which are eating my veggie plants. I'm not sure yet of their effectiveness but am hopeful and they are approved by organic growers. I found it difficult to open the box and am searching for something suitable to store the pellets in now. A package/container which opened and closed readily would be preferable to a cardboard box !”
