Butterfly Netting Green or Black Reviews

4.9 Rating 212 Reviews
Read Gardening Naturally Reviews

This soft butterfly netting will stop cabbage white butterflies and birds ruining your vegetables, especially brassica plants, like cabbage and kale. It is available in green or black.
The butterfly net will keep butterflies away from your brassicas and other vegetables, meaning you get to enjoy the fruits of your labour.
What is soft butterfly netting made from?
The butterfly netting is made from strong HDPE and UV stabilised. With the feel of soft fabric to touch and durable enough to last for many years.
Where can I use soft butterfly netting?
The soft butterfly netting is light enough to lay directly over crops and strong enough to be used to cover frames, cages, or hoops.
Our soft butterfly netting will also protect ponds from falling debris and Herons.
Can bees get through butterfly netting?
This netting has a mesh size too compact for bees to fit through. As a result, if you are growing crops that need pollinating, remove this netting during flowering.
How small does butterfly netting need to be?
Our soft butterfly netting is 5mm x 7mm which is plenty small enough to stop most butterflies from being able to access your crops.

Very well made and strong. Better than others that I have brought. First time of ordering with this company and I will now be ordering more goods in the future

The netting is very good but you do really need to have a cage over the brassicas otherwise as I've found to my cost, as the plants grow larger and the leaves touch the netting, the butterflies lay their eggs through the holes. I now have to do daily caterpillar hunts so as not to loose all my brassicas.

Very pleased - it's robust and despite the best attempts of sparrows to destroy it, has so far resisted! It is also exactly the size ordered which is just as well because I'd already constructed the frame. It came quickly, thereby reducing the stress of seeing increasing numbers of cabbage whites in the garden.

Doing what it says on the tin! There are a lot of frustrated butterflies who land on the net then fly off without laying eggs.

Brilliant product. Looks like it will last a good few years. Much easier to use than the thinner netting which gets all tangled up.
