“This item is brilliant, it makes dead-heading the roses on our 2m arches a doddle, where previously we would have had to get the step ladder out. It is also fantastic to be able to dead-head and tidy the flower beds without having to leave the path. My wife has been running all over the garden trimming everything in sight! It is so light and effective and well-made, it is already one of our most-valued garden implements. Thank you Darlac (UK made) for great product design and manufacture. We will soon buy the telescopic version so that we can prune up to 3m high from terra firma.”

“This is THE BEST tool I've found for the garden. Been looking for something like this for ages. Really lightweight, REALLY sharp and can take both the most delicate head off a flower and also a reasonable thickness of stem. Brilliant. Love being able to hold onto whatever I've cut too. Glad I got the 1.5m size - it's not unwieldy at all and means I can easily deal with the tallest climbing rose on the house wall without steps or asking hubby. Winter pruning will be a doddle. I've even used it to chop down the tall nettles at the back of the border - obviously, they'll come back but at least the seed head is gone & I'll dig them out over the winter. Using it becomes addictive - the day it arrived I went all over the garden & found lots of uses. Can't wait until the apples and pears are ready so I can pick them carefully too.”

“Just what we needed to reach climbers etc beyond arm's length. It is said to be able to cut brambles etc up to 12mm in diameter. I tried it on branches of that thickness and it could not cope - 8mm would be a more realistic figure.”
