“Despite two successive applications over a number of weeks this last month, as per instructions (stored correctly, applied in damp weather, with correct rose on watering can and over appropriately sized area, keeping soil damp for the days afterwards), I'm afraid these just don't seem to have worked. Perhaps it's just a particularly bad (or good year) for molluscs. I was out last night for an hour and picked literally hundreds of very healthy slugs, of all sizes, off the treated areas (from just a few veg beds), all voraciously munching on my flowers and veggies (including the more prickly ones, like courgettes). Photo shows the number I found on/near my plants. I feel I have wasted my money. I have now invested in a head torch, so will continue to do the nightly forays and hope this has an impact on their numbers. We are just finishing off building a wildlife pond too, to encourage frogs into the garden to help with the control. Good to read that others have had better success, just wish that had been the case for me too.”

“Slugs are a huge problem in my garden. There are so many and can destroy plants overnight. This year, they seemed worse. At night, they were everywhere. I've used this type of nematodes before and they worked well. Last year I used some that you sprinkle on the soil but they didn't seem to be effective. I first applied them about 6 weeks ago and I have seen very few slugs since. I decided to follow up with a second application this year. I've just done the second one.”
