Our portable domed cages are brilliant for providing fruit and vegetable crops with all year round protection.
For winter protection, just cover with any fleece or polythene to bring on plants and then cover with any of our nettings to keep the birds and insects out. Easy to move.
Available in 6 different lengths.
All of our portable cages are 680mm (2' 2") high x 1.2m (4') wide. Just select the length you require.
Choose from a range of different covers or select "no netting" if you just require the frame.
The frames come complete with support bars, U pins and clips for securing the netting. If ordering with fleece or polythene (soft cover) you will receive crop cover clips and steel pegs for securing the fabric around the base because the normal clips will damage the fabric when used on the hoops.
If these sizes are not suitable you can create your own using our hoops and accessories.

“The tunnel kit will serve as a fruit protection cage during the summer fruiting season and a small frost protection tunnel during early spring. It's construction allows it to be easily adopted to my needs. A good sound design employing non flimsy alloy pipe work.”

“Big but lightweight. Dead easy to put together. The Blackbird netting is tricky to get right, but once in place is perfect at keeping those pesky birds at bay.”

“Quick and easy to set up (although we’ve found it takes both of us to build and move it) Secured well with the pegs. Between this and some anti-digging plastic mats the foxes have lost interest in our new veggie patch.”
