“This is the fourth pair of this exact same style that I have bought - previously every pair has been supremely comfortable and very smart. I have wide feet so it's not always easy to get the fit just right. However, looking for another pair of the same style this year has not been so easy. First I bought a pair from a well-known online retailer, and the right shoe squeaked terribly. After two replacements with the same problem I tried the Gabor online service. These shoes are better, but not as comfortable as previous pairs (have my feet changed?). However I decided to keep hold of them because they are extremely smart and work with a lot of my outfits. I did notice that the left shoe has a slight squeak but decided it wasn't too bad and I was maybe being overly sensitive to that matter. But last week, walking down the corridor at work, I realised that the squeak is actually quite noticeable. I don't know why this is an issue as it has never been an issue for me before, but there it is. So in summary - a lovely, smart pair of shoes, the fit is pretty good but not perfect for my feet, and then there is just the issue of the squeak........”
