“Comfortable shoes, smart-casual. Size 5.5 is difficult to find in other ranges - these fit me well. In 'Mutaro' - the finish is not as shiny as suggested in the illustration, they're not quite silver, not quite bronze - I am not sure how to clean them or protect the leather.”

“My second pair of Gabor's Ruffle" - my first was red suede and these Mutaro leather shoes are just as much fun. I love red and I love bling - but MOST OF ALL I love comfort. And these shoes have it all. My wide foot is happy with the comfort of the width and for longer walks and standing, I also also the lovely arch. It's so nice to have it all!”

“It may be a bit strange to give 3 stars to shoes you ended up returning and for the trying of which you ended up paying around 30 pounds (delivery costs, return costs and an internet shopping error which meant two pairs were sent to me), but those were lovely shoes and the service of Charles Clinkard was overall quite good. The shoes are elegant, super soft, the colour is unusual and can fit lots of clothes. The sizing is, however, the strangest I've ever seen. 5 1/2 felt like 7 and I didn't want to risk replacing with a size I haven't tried. I'm normally living in the UK but spending some time in Europe and delivery costs add up, especially since my first payment was first declined by my bank, then accepted, but because I received no confirmation, I ordered again. Charles Clinkard were very quick to respond, but, unfortunately, after they had shipped the two identical orders. Returns are normally at the buyer's cost, but one of the pairs had a free DHL return option in. Perhaps they had thought that there was something unusual there. I'll buy those shoes when I have the chance to try them on directly! And for now, giving up buying shoes over the internet.”
