“I usually take a 5 in other brands but Gabor a 4.5. They are the only boot I have ever had that I can just put on new and have no “wearing in” issues. Always fit like a glove! Fit really well on my slim calves, only boot I have found that does. Last almost forever! I have 2 pairs of these now the other is tan and are 7 years old! I also have a pair of heeled black ones nearly as old! Expensive boots but worth the investment as they never do in the sale!”

“I recently ordered 2 pairs of these lovely boots in a size 5 (Black and Merlot) but had to exchange them for 4 1/2s as they were on the large side. These fitted perfectly but agreeing with the last reviewer, the leather of the boots did not seem the same quality as the previous 2 pairs I had ordered. There was a much "cheaper" looking finish to the leather, especially on the Merlot coloured pair, and the grain in the leather didn't look as rich. I was very disappointed, but have decided after much soul searching to keep them as they were what I was looking for in every other way. Also, there would have been a significant cost in returning both pairs again, and I was even doubtful they would still be in stock - the Black boots have now sold out in my size.”

With regards to returns, you can of course use a service called Collectplus which costs £4.49 and covers up to 10kg in weight and is ideal for larger items just like the Gabor Brook.
