“I bought these for my 89-year-old mum who does not like "granny shoes" ha ha. She also has bunions so needs something that will not pinch but these did not come in a wider fit. She also wanted something with a low heel but not flat and with little choice around, thought I would give these a try for her. I am so glad I took a chance with these. She is delighted with them and says they are the most comfortable shoes she has. With prolonged wear, they did pinch a bit but after a while, they stretched slightly and are now perfect. So if you normally prefer a wider width shoe these are still worth a try. I'd just mention that she normally wears 6.5 when available but buying a size 7 perhaps helped. The quality of the shoe and leather are excellent. She would definitely recommend them.”

“Since I first discovered this shoe in Pares', Blackheath, (these are at least my third purchase of them over the years) as they fit my requirements for the perfect, comfortable, hard wearing, all round stylish shoe. The high cut means they can be worn with thick tights or looking like boots when worn with (boot cut) trousers/jeans. The substantial textured sole is extremely hard wearing and as slightly visible around the edge, it protects the toe leather from being scuffed. It's my go to shoe, please, please Gabor don't ever stop making them.”
