“We ordered two of these tables. As described under the service review, one of the 2 tables we had needed to be replaced because of damage to 2 of its drawers. Even the other table which we didn't raise issue with had little nicks in the paintwork but as that was going against a wall we lived with it. Bear in mind that we paid £469 each for these so almost a thousand pounds for the two. We are really disappointed with the quality for this money. Amazingly these were supposedly reduced from the full price of £799 each!!! They are described as having " Chunky Oak Top with Rounded Corner" which we really liked the look of. However in reality it's a rounded chunky edge but the flat table top is very thin veneer which almost bends when you press it with your hand. The quality of the painting is pretty average and if you look in some places underneath it's just a very thin spray of paint. Overall it feels more like a £99 table from B&M. The only reason we're prepared to put up with it is that it was the only table we could find that matched what we were looking for size-wise and appearance. We'd rate similar stuff we've had from Next and Cotswold as much better quality. So overall good service and nice people but the actual coffee tables are extremely poor value for money and poor quality.”
