Our Softwood Green Treated Sawn Railway Sleepers are the ideal lightweight, durable and inexpensive choice of sleeper for most domestic uses, including but not limited to, flower beds, raised edging and steps.
Treated with a water based chemical that resists the sleeper to water rot and insect infestation.
It is worth noting that sleepers do have the tendency to be slippery when wet, so precautions to combat this may be advised.
Green treated timbers have a life expectancy of around 15 years providing the appropriate maintenance is applied.
