Coffees look fantastic and i'm sure they'll go down well. What did not go down so well was the delivery service. Paid for the chocolates on the weekend and received an email to advise that they had been dispatched on the following Monday. (Although all emails went into my junk mail so everything was a little delayed) After a week i emailed the company to query the whereabouts of my chocolates. They replied advising " as previously advised, they couldn't guarantee delivery". This was a bit of a shock so i queried this statement - as it did not state anywhere in the delivery information that this was the case. Apparently they don't have a contract with CollectPlus - which i thought was odd, given that the chocolates had been also been sent by courier. That was when i found the second dispatch email on the Wednesday - (although still nothing about the lack of delivery guarantee). Friars then responded to advise that the chocolates had indeed been delivered the previous Thursday, so off i went to pick them up. Chocolates were still there, but had been delivered by Royal Mail via the regular postman. So thanks for the chocolates, but very disappointed by the delivery 'service', hopefully this was just an anomaly.

Hello Sean, I'm sorry that you were disappointed with the service you received from us regarding delivery of your order. As your order was placed after 12 noon on a Friday, your order was not dispatched until the following Monday as we only dispatch orders Monday to Friday; as stated in the terms and conditions on our website. With regard to the issue with Collect Plus, we emailed you as soon as we realised that your delivery address was for a Collect Plus location to let you know that as we didn't hold a contract with Collect Plus, we did not want your order to go missing if it wasn't accepted at the delivery location. As we had no response from you, we amended the postage label to include your name and dispatched your order; again emailing to inform you that we could not be held responsible if your order did not arrive for the reasons previously stated. Our orders are sent via Royal Mail and it is not stated anywhere on our website how our parcels are delivered. We only use a courier if the parcel exceeds the weight limit set by Royal Mail. These chocolates look amazing, I ordered these chocolates as a special gift for someone for Christmas but decided to keep them for myself as a Christmas treat! but I did order more.
