“Excellent product., however, there were severe problems with delivery. In spite of completing the box for delivery information three times!!! the product was delivered to the payees address. This is quite a common fault with some websites, but should be addressed. I will wait until the new year to forward on to its final destination (which is only a few miles from Keswick!).”

“I was looking for a special box of chocolates and didn't want to buy from the usual big brands that to me all taste the same and have been cheapened and mass produced over the years, which are also a waste of money in my opinion. So I searched the internet and found FRIARS. A long standing family firm based in the Lake District. I purchased their Signature Box. Although Royal Mail were on strike, I still received them in quick time. The chocolates are clearly hand made and may I add put a well known French chocolate company to shame, as I bought a box from them last Xmas paying over £68 for them and was extremely disappointed. The different flavours were delicious and I loved the cranberry one best! I would highly recommend if you are a chocolate lover and want true quality. Well done FRIARS I will be purchasing my chocolate from you now on.”

“I bought it for my boss and I was so disappointed. As well as the fact that it was overpriced, the chocolates were not sealed, you take the top cover off and traa, everything is there (exposed to air!) I wonder if my boss ate them or maybe they were stale, she put them in the bin. I guess I’ll never know!”

Thank you for your review, we are sorry you were disappointed with your order. Your chocolate box should have been sealed with a biodegradable tamper-proof seal sorry if this wasn't the case. Kind Regards Friars Customer Service
