“They were a gift but well received. As I didn't taste any it is only fair to give them an 'acceptable' rating. Unfortunately, they were for a June birthday and their 'best before' date was the end of June. I expect they were eaten before then but would have been fine if they hadn't.”

Hello, thank you for your review. We are sorry that you were disappointed with your order and the best before date of June 2022. We have a standard policy of a 3 month shelf life with most of our products we pack to ensure that they are kept fresh with them being a perishable item. When it does get close to the 2 month best before date we do offer a discount to reduce any stock we may have left rather than have to dispose of it. If a product has been reduced due to a short date we do always state the best before in the product description. Kind Regards Friars

“Good day to you Sir or Madam. The chocolates I purchased were a gift for my sister in law so I did not get to try them personally. The gift was delivered promptly on time for her birthday so I was very pleased with that.
