“Although the liqueurs in the chocolates are excellent, I found the chocolates a bit sweet as there seems to be a coating of sugar inside the chocolate layer.”

“These are for Christmas. Actually we are going to use them as part of an Advent calendar we designed ourselves. Looking forward to Advent. We remember liqueurs in sugar crusts inside chocolate from childhood so this is a trip down memory lane. Sugar crusts have been dispensed with by so many manufacturers of liqueur chocolate. We like the chocolates with and without the sugar crusts, and to choose ourselves. Thank you to Friars for sourcing these.”
